Holiday Inn West Phoenix

Had we paid full price for this hotel we would have been disappointed. It is time for a renovation and a thorough cleaning and a place to plug in the coffee machine.

This hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.

Right off the highway, very easy to get anywhere, only 7 minutes from downtown Phoenix.

we really liked the soap they provided. the intrance door into the room did not go to the floor, there was a large gap at the bottom witch let in a ridiculous amount of light in from the hall.

I usually like the Holiday Inn but as soon as we got there the location was not what I anticipated. It was in a Ghetto area so I was concerned for my children. There were hardly any guests so we assumed service would be prompt but as I stated earlier we asked for pillows and towels as soon as we got there and didn't receive them until 3 hours and four calls later. The price was not a discounted price, because all the other hotels had the same quality as this hotel if not better. The sink in the bathroom had someone else's cut hair in it and the shower walls had dry dirt on them. Overall it was a decent hotel but not 3 stars. I stayed in a Staybridge Suites room on Saturday night in Glendale for my price and that was worth even more. That was a beautiful hotel and I believe it is affiliated with the Holiday Inn. It was connected to one. We were very pleased with their service and will be visiting them again soon. Thank you for trying but it just did not work out for us. The hotel itself was nice and respectable but the area surrounding the hotel is rundown and dirty. That said, it is probably the nicest hotel in the area.
